So. . .this past week has been amazing!!! Living on my own is sooooooo awesome; the best thing i've ever done.

This is the gist of a conversation I had with Darren before RUSH:
ME: It's hell on earth.  We wear uncomfortable clothes and shoes.  In the heat of the day, being judged at every moment.  We walk miles in a day, eat crappy food, and spend lots of time in lines.
DARREN: And you volunteer for this?
ME: We pay to do this!!!

And it was worth EVERY penny!!!!

I have pledged a sorority.  They're really great. Me. . .in a sorority, who'd of thought???  We have a "retreat" next friday night.  I can go over to the "HOUSE" anytime i want, even though i'm not moving in for a year.  WooHoo free laundry!!! TiVo!!!! Good food!!! Good friends!!!  Frat boys!!! I'm so excited!!!! (Can you tell?)

So, dorm life is awesome.  Last night, me and a bunch of other girls from Stout hung out in the guys' lounge on the third floor since they have a PS2 and we wanted to watch movies.  The third floor guy's RA gave us popcorn and hung out with us from like 11 until past 2 a.m.  It was awesome. Let's just say that i love college.

I'm sure i've left stuff out and will be updating as i remember it all.

Hey Everyone

I'm moving out tomorrow!!! I'm nervous, and excited, and anxious, and lots of other things that I don't even know the right words.  I'm going up to OSU early for Rush, so wish me luck.  While I'm gone I need lots of emails and comments and phone calls to let me know that you care, even if I can't really talk to you all that much. I love all of you very much and am praying that we all keep in touch.  I've had so much fun the past few years.

Your Ideal Relationship is Serious Dating
You're not ready to go walking down the aisle. But you may be ready in a couple of years. You prefer to date one on one, with a commitment. And while chemistry is important, so is compatibility.

I got this today in an email:

Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot,
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.
Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead,
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats,
who holds your hand in front of his friends,
Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he
cares about you and how lucky he is to have you.
Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

If you're a girl, wait for "that" guy.  If you're a boy, BE "that" guy.

So, I haven't posted in awhile, and a lot has happened.

1. Spent part of the past week in Ardmore, Falconhead, Grapevine, Gainsville, and Wynnewood.

2. My cousin Jeremy is staying here until Wednesday.

3. Chad is back home, and called me the day he got back.

4. I've "met" someone new and we're trying to find a time/place to meet.

5. I move out in a week and a day.

6. I've talked to my roommate and she sounds nice enough.

7. I've successfully been keeping up with my "To Do" lists and marking things off.

8. I babysit tomorrow for the last time (10-3).

9. Darren got his wisdom teeth out.

10. Laura and I are talking again.

11. Laura and Billy officially broke up.

12. and I've finally posted a new entry. . .

I'll leave you with some words of wisdom:
"Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. Othertimes you're the Louisville Slugger, baby, sometimes you're the ball."
